For the first time, HBO Asia is dubbing over an HBO original series in to the Thai language with Thai celebrities. According to Multichannel News, this will begin with Game of Thrones season 7, which will also feature two lucky fans. Here are the celebrities we’re talking about — they’re drawn from a variety of background, including singing, acting, and modeling:

  • Mario Maurer as Jon Snow
  • Nantida Kaewbuasai as Cersei Lannister
  • Namthip Jongrachatawiboon as Daenerys Targaryen
  • Preeti Barameeanant as Tyrion Lannister
  • Ploychompoo Jannine Weigel as Arya Stark
  • Pleng Chontida Asavahame as Sansa Stark

According to Jonathan Spink, the CEO of HBO Asia, this move is about being committed to the Thai audience through its partner, AIS (Advanced Info Service). This moves comes on the heels of bringing Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) to Thailand earlier this year to promote the show.

HBO Asia is recruiting two Thai fans — one male and one female — to dub over parts for season 7. Interested parties can learn more on the organization’s website. There are going to be fewer and fewer opportunities to get on the show before it wraps up, so take all the chances you get.

Season 7 will premiere in Asia on July 17, the same time it does in the U.S. The show will be available through HBO Go, AIS Play, and AIS Playbox.
