Our five favorite covers of the Game of Thrones theme music

With Season 5 rolling around, we here at WiCnet are are thinking in fives. Last week we speculated on uncast characters, and today we’re doing a little celebrating–my five favorite covers of the instantly iconic Game of Thrones theme song.
There are tons of covers out there, from the straight interpretations to the nearly unrecognizable. The kids have covered it, the cats have covered it, the dogs have covered it. People cover it in costume, people cover it in street clothes. Every so often, they even do it in marching band uniforms. There’s even covers remixed together for those who don’t want to make a decision. Here are, in my humble opinion, the five best covers I’ve heard.
