Emilia Clarke on Michiel Huisman’s (Daario Naharis) Haunted House

It’s one of the useful things about the Game of Thrones cast being so extensive: when one of the actors needs a place to stay when shooting another project, one of the other cast members can probably accommodate them.
That’s what happened during Emilia Clarke’s shoot on Terminator Genisys shoot. Part of the film was shot on location in New Orleans. Rather than stay in a hotel, she just borrowed the keys to Michiel Huisman’s place. He’s been living in New Orleans since starring in HBO’s Treme, which ran from 2010-2013. In the end, however, maybe Clarke should have rented a hotel. According her her, the Dutch actor’s place is haunted. In her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, she insisted that it was awful.
"“Oh my goodness, it was definitely, definitely haunted. [New Orleans residents told her] ‘You know it’s haunted because the air is really thick and it feels kind of super humid.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s all of my house.’”"
There’s no word on if it was the ghost of Jon Snow troubling her. A lot of people have died on Game of Thrones, so there’s no telling what ghosts could be hanging around various cast members. As far as Daenerys is concerned, Clarke thinks her character might still be safe. “For a minute.”
“I’m definitely always on at David and Dan (Benioff and Weiss, the series’ creators), saying, ‘Can I have the scripts, just to see if I’m alive?’ That would be good.”
But hey, if she dies…she can just head Huisman’s way and haunt his house.
