Sophie Turner gets a spread in Glamour Mexico

Sophie Turner continues to build her career as an actress and fashion cover-girl with a cover and spread in the July 2015 issue of the Spanish language magazine Glamour Mexico. Though she has several projects she’s in the middle of promoting, including her turn as the young Jean Grey in the latest installment of the X-Men franchise, the thing everyone wants to know about is how it feels to work on Game of Thrones.

Though Turner doesn’t give much away about Season 6 (at least in the promotional quotes) she says she’s amazed to have landed such a successful project this early in her career, and that the secret to the show’s success is the passion and commitment of everyone involved—and the ability to dream big.

She also says that, although the fans of the show are legion, there’s never pressure to please them on set—they only ever do their best, and respect the material and the fantasy world they are in. The rest will take care of itself.

Glamour Mexico marvels at her intelligence and maturity. Personally, I’m just madly in love with the Temperley London outfit she’s sporting. With the thigh-high boots, Turner is reminding everyone that, while Sansa might be making less-than-ideal choices on screen, in her career, Sophie Turner takes no prisoners.
