San Diego Comic-Con 2015 is in full-swing, and though there are no major Doctor Who-related panels or events today, there’s always something of interest slipping out into the world.

Several Comic-Con attendees spotted new Doctor Who toys and merchandise on display at the booth of vendor Underground Toys. Doctor Who action figures, accessories, and other items have all been produced by Underground Toys for the past several years. If you’ve got a plastic Sonic Screwdriver lying around at home or a random Mickey Smith action figure, it was made by Underground.
Now, none of these new items have been officially announced yet, so there are no beautiful, professionally photographed pictures to share. Instead, we’re relying on blurry smartphone photos posted on social media — so consider yourself warned. Nor are there any details other than what can be gleaned from the packaging in the photos.

First up is one toy that I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt, WILL find a home on my toy shelf once it’s released:
Yep, that’s Tom Baker as the Curator from the 50th anniversary special, ‘The Day of the Doctor,’ complete with a walking cane and a lenticular version of the “Gallifrey Falls” painting. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this one!
Here’s a pretty swell-looking Twelfth Doctor figure, wearing his standard “magician” outfit from Series 8. He seems to have all but abandoned that look for Series 9, but it’s still an iconic ensemble.
Another 5.5″ Twelfth Doctor figure, this time in what appeared to be his purplish dress shirt. It’s a little underwhelming, really.
There are few more Doctor Who items, such as an expensive looking new watch and some cartoon-y keychain figures, but I wasn’t able to find any Twitter/Instagram pictures, so you’ll have to head over to Figures.com’s Underground Toys Comic-Con 2015 Gallery to check them out.
What do you think? Will you be picking up any of these figures when they’re officially released? Sound off in the comments below!
