On Friday evening, post SDCC panel, the cast of Game of Thrones–all nine members who spoke at the panel–went on Conan for a post panel party of sorts. It was a fun, Game of Thrones dominated episode, but if you think nine actors is a lot to get through in the allotted time, you’re right. Worse, between the Westerosi weather report and the reveal of Natalie Dormer’s Dune tattoo, the show ran short of time, and—of all people—Liam Cunningham’s interview segment ended up on the cutting room floor. Davos gets short shifted, even in real life.
Never fear though! Conan felt so bad about his failure at time management, he brought Liam Cunningham back to the show for a very special segment, and a very important question about Melisandre’s return to The Wall in the season finale, and what it might mean going forward for the show. No, not *that* question about what Melisandre’s return might mean. The other one, where Davos perhaps might ruin her chance of doing some good for a certain dead character, because of his need to exact vengeance on her for destroying the Baratheon family. Check it out!
That indeed seems to have gone well. So much for answers.
