Dean-Charles Chapman back on set, Kit Harington still elsewhere, new actors join Season 6

Here’s a general cast roundup for you. Reports of various cast members arriving at filming locations have been streaming in over the past few weeks, and now Dean-Charles Chapman, aka Tommen Baratheon, the King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, is in Belfast and filming new material. He took a picture of what he called the “Belfast/Westeros Sky” as well as a shot of himself—well, part of himself—garbed as the young king.
(Note: Charles Chapman has removed the original Instagram post, but the internet is forever. The missing picture is below.)
Next: Kit Harington. Still in London (Hackney is a borough in the city). Still with the hair and the beard. Moving on.
Also, there’s new casting info afoot. According to The Narrow Road Company, actress Souad Faress will be filming scenes for Game of Thrones Season 6 in October. Faress is probably best known for her role on The Archers, a long-running series on BBC Radio-4. There’s no word on who she might be playing, but it’s prudent to remember that one of the Season 6 casting calls described a “Leading Actress, in her early 40’s, she’s an elegant actress with a traveling theatre company. Fun, charismatic, rum-drinking actress in the troupe.” Perhaps Faress will be playing one of the actors Arya joins up with? Or: Galazza Galare?
Actor Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson will also be new to the cast in Season 6. Icelandic site Vísir reports that Jóhannesson will be around for two episodes next year. Incidentally, the roles of outlaw leader Lachlan and some of his cronies are described as being around for two episodes, so Jóhannesson may be playing a member of the Lachlan group, or even Lachlan himself. He may be best known to audiences through the role of Thomas on NBC’s A.D. The Bible Continues. He will join Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (the Mountain) in representing Iceland on the set.
Finally, actor Andrew Bryan will have a role as a Bolton Officer, and Eddie Eyre will play Ser Alfred Hunrith. And no, we’ve never heard of that character, either.
