Maisie Williams launches YouTube channel in attempt to become queen of the internet

Of all the cast members on Game of Thrones, Maisie Williams is the most prone to going viral on the internet, and if you don’t believe me, please witness this quick clip she posted immediately after “The Rains of Castemere” aired back in 2013.

I also refer you to these pictures of her stabbing a Red Wedding cake and her crapton of Vines. The girl knows virality.

Today, she kicked her efforts into overdrive by launching her own YouTube channel, mainly so she can post “videos of things that make me laugh” and “let [her] creative juices out.” That may seem slight, but this is YouTube, where thousands of people do exactly this and become internet-famous for it, so rock on.

Let’s go over what we learned from her first video in a quick, internet-friendly fashion.

  • Williams does a mean Rose Leslie impression.
  • Sansa sighting!
  • Williams knows how to use Final Cut Pro. Neat!
  • Pebble story.

Joking aside, this seems like a fun little side project, and unlike your average teenager, Williams is bound to get thousands of views for her videos because of her Game of Thrones fame. Who knows? Maybe she’ll let something slip about the production at some point.
