With filming in Saintfield in its seventh week, and fourth week of filming for the huge battle scene being shot there, attention has once more shifted to Northern Ireland. Locals are chuffed—even the ones who don’t actually watch the show.
Lots of Game of Thrones chat in Saintfield today. "I don't watch it myself but I saw a bus load of hairy looking fellas in hats" : )

Hats? Do they mean helmets? The wildlings don’t wear hats either, though they do like a nice hoody. Maybe this local is seeing a group of Northern soldiers…they do tend toward hairiness.
Also fab that they're bringing so much trade to local businesses. Horses, vans, food - all from the nearby area #GameOfThrones #visitni

And the bakery is apparently doing roaring trade with the GOT crew. #gameofscones 😀

“Game of Scones” sound like it might also double for the finale of The Great British Bake Off.
Meanwhile, out in the field of play, smoke continues to rise from the field of battle. It’s hard to tell what’s going on in the fog of war. Earlier pics from the area also included a lot of smoke, so apparently one side or the other is going to make liberal use of fire during this fight.
Apparently the sheep don’t mind though.
And apparently, though rumors swirl of the coming Snow Bowl, one that will presumably feature a face-off between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton, afterwards Kit Harington and Iwan Rheon like to go drinking.
(This pic is from a couple of weeks back, before the big spoiler pics hit. But I would imagine that, after working so hard to keep a low profile, Harington may start drinking publicly again now that word is out. You would drink too if it happened to you.)
With tweets like these, it looks like Harington’s not making a secret of being there at this point.
