Hilarity pile: Jon Snow’s post-death moments, Parks and Rec crossover, and more
By Dan Selcke
At this point, the world is pretty convinced that Jon Snow will show up in Game of Thrones Season 6. But how might it happen? Will Melisandre be involved? Will he return as a wight? NRK Humor…definitely does not have the answer, but might divert you with its depiction of what happens to Jon immediately after the final scene in “Mother’s Mercy.”
Honestly, I think the funniest part of the video was when Jon woke up gasping, before it turned into an Edward Snowden-David Lynch acid trip, although I did like Jon’s premonition that “Winter is coming, and then going again, but it’s coming, and then it’s gonna go,” and so on.
Next, Buzzfeed has crossbred Game of Thrones with the always-delightful Parks and Recreation (a show that had its fair share of Game of Thrones references). I’m consistently amazed at how much comic mileage sites can get by putting quotes from one show under stills from a different show but there it is. Presenting: a couple of quotes from Parks and Recreation under stills from Game of Thrones.
There’s more of that at the link above.
Finally, an Englishman named Simon O’Rourke won an international chainsaw carving competition with his Game of Thrones-inspired entry: a 10-foot wooden dragon modeled after Drogon. Watch him make like Daenerys and ride.
If you’re gonna use a chainsaw for something, it might as well be for something awesome like this.
