Harington HairWatch: The Hair Takes a Break from Filming in Saintfield

Well, I mean, one can’t be raising themselves from the dead to fight the army of wights all the time, can one?
(Translation: Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte), shopping in London this weekend.)
So what’s happening in Saintfield anyway? Last we checked, the production was in the midst of filming the most elaborate battle scene in the show’s history. As we roll into the eighth week of filming, things finally seem to be wrapping up, but that could still mean another week or so.
We feel your pain, sir. Perhaps a beer might help? Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) is apparently drinking them on his day off at the World Rugby cup.

Meanwhile, in Corbet, Northern Ireland, Riverrun appears to be officially under siege…

When combined with what looks like a mounting crisis in Meereen, not to mention the epic fight being shot in Saintfield, Season 6 promises to be full of standoffs between opposing factions. Hopefully the production will start filming in Corbet soon, so we’ll know more about what’s going on.
