Model/Actor Staz Nair joining Game of Thrones Season 6, probably as a Dothraki

The Game of Thrones production is currently hard at work filming scenes out in Almería, where Daenerys and her Dothraki horde are getting to know each other. New reports have it that actor/model/musician Staz Nair may be joining that crazy bunch as a Dothraki warrior.

The announcement that Nair was joining the cast actually came over a month ago in the press materials for Bazodee, a musical drama in which Nair had a small part. They lay dormant for a while, possibly because the materials said that Nair was set to join the cast for “season eight,” until the sleuths at Watchers on the Wall dug it up.

It’s a safe assumption that the materials meant to say “Season 6,” as there are other clues that Nair is getting ready to join the ranks of the Dothraki. As already mentioned, the show is currently filming scenes involving the Dothraki in Spain, and Nair has uploaded pictures of select Spanish attractions to his Instagram, not to mention the pics of him hanging out with horses, which everyone knows are a Dothraki warrior’s best friend.

Plus, he’s been spotted within a hair’s breath of Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) by Twitter user Anita González, who made a collage of some of the stars she ran into recently. That’s Glen in the upper left and Nair in the upper right.

Put that together with his coloring, and all signs point toward Dothraki. As to what he’ll be doing, that’s a more difficult question. In lieu of an answer, here’s a video of Nair singing Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” with his bandmates during his tenure on The X Factor UK, which is almost as good.
