Emilia Clarke’s a spokeswoman, Sean Bean’s a narrator, and Gwendoline Christie needs clones

The Mother of Dragons is getting some major face-time. Emilia Clarke has been chosen by French fashion label Dior to be the face of its Rose des Vents fine jewelry collection. Here she is, looking very fancy.

Being chosen as the face of a luxury brand is a nice feather in Clarke’s cap, and something she can use to further her career. It looks like she’s enjoying it, too.
Elsewhere, Sean Bean has lent his dulcet tones to the trailer for Life is Feudal: Your Own, a cheekily titled medieval-themed RPG to be released on November 17, although it’s been available through Steam Early Access for a while. Bean lends gravitas and scope to the trailer in a way only he can.
The game’s website makes it sound as though a lot of the players time will be spent building towns and villages, but damn if Bean doesn’t make it all sound very intense. A massively-multiplayer online version of the game is also on the way.
Finally, Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) is so in demand nowadays that she’s in need of duplicates, according to an interview in Zap2It. “I’ve been working on some clones,” she said. “I built some greenhouses, and they’ve been incubating in there next to some tomato plants.”
It is sorta ridiculous how high Christie’s profile has become over the past year. Not only is she filming Season 6 of Game of Thrones, arguably the biggest TV show on the planet right now, but she’ll be starring in December’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the biggest movie series on the planet right now, and in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which is also a big deal. Clones could come in very handy.
