Game of Thrones Season 6 premieres in a mere 34 days, and the cast is stepping up press appearances. Also getting interviewed: Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow. His character may have been killed at the end of the last season, but he still discussed the role in a recent interview in The Sunday Times.

The actor went on to address some of the evidence presented by fans who think Jon Snow will be resurrected in Season 6. For example, Harington explained why he’s kept Jon Snow’s distinctive hairstyle even though, at this point, he should be free to cut it. “I like it,” he said. “I got too attached.”

According to him, he had to show up to play Jon Snow’s corpse. “You can’t just forget that he’s actually died,” Harington said. “I had to be a dead body…so there was a certain amount of filming that had to be done.” As you can see in the featured image above, which is taken from the Season 6 trailer, Harington does indeed turn up as Jon Snow’s corpse.
