Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer: “Book of the Stranger”
By Ani Bundel
With Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 3, “Oathbreaker” technically on the books, HBO has put out the trailer for next week’s episode, which has quite possibly the best title of any episode so far this season: “Book of the Stranger.”
For those who are used to my full scale breakdown, we’ll still be posting that at it’s usual time of 6pm EST, Monday. But until we can get to that, here’s the trailer by itself to hold you over.
If you haven’t seen “Oathbreaker” yet, or have but don’t want to know what’s coming next, cease reading, because here there be SPOILERS.
Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Dan Sackheim.
Synopses: Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) strikes a deal. Jorah (Iain Glen) and Daario (Michiel Huisman) undertake a difficult task. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey) try to improve their situation.
Not mentioned in the synopsis, but just as important:
- Sansa and Brienne and Pod *will* make it to the Wall. That means next week we’re getting the first Stark family reunion…ever. Unless Jon has already left.
- We’re four episodes in and still bringing back characters for the first time this season. Next week will include Littlefinger and Robin.
- Theon goes home, Tyrion’s still stuck in Meereen, and Dany needs out of the Vaes Dothrak.
- Margaery looks to be making a deal, even as her Grandmother is ready to go mano a mano with Cersei to keep her daughter from having to endure the Walk of Shame Part II: Now with More Cowbell!
