Game of Thrones Screencap Breakdown: “Blood of my Blood”
By Ani Bundel
Admit it, you laughed at Joffrey’s death just like Arya. But what got me was fake-Margaery’s stunner of a wedding gown.
Both are pretty funny.
The actress who plays Sansa, Bianca, dreaming of the day she’ll star in the show.
I left this shot in because A) it’s the death of Tywin Lannister, and B) it explains why Richard E Grant was wearing that terrible blonde wig backstage last week, instead of his Robert Baratheon costume.
This shot of Arya’s face in the mirror as she pours the poison is so great. It kind of resembles a shot from the end of the season premiere, when Melisandre gave herself a long, hard look in the mirror.
Backstage dynamics: Grant’s playwright is a pompous, insecure windbag, and the actress who plays Sansa is enjoying seeing Lady Crane get dressed down.
That is, she enjoys it until Arya knocks the poisoned rum out of Lady Crane’s hand and Bianca suddenly finds herself a *very* unsatisfied customer of the Faceless Men. The House of Black and White LLC is all about costumer service, you know. It has a active presence on Twitter and everything. They don’t like unsatisfied customers.
Not at all.
(The lighting in this shot of Arya hiding out from the Waif is so cool.)
