Funnies: Game of Thrones RPG, the Mountain threatens famous athletes, and much more

On Game of Thrones, we’re always joking about how this character or that character has entered or exited “the game.” The videogame lingo works for jokes, especially considering how many characters have run out of lives this season, while a few others have been rezzed. YouTuber YD Visual took a scene from “Home,” the second episode of Season 6, and turned it into a Role Playing Game. Behold:

I love the name “Igor The Impulsive,” by the way. I only wish the game had continued so that we saw Olly’s hit points drain to zero.

Speaking of Game of Thrones being compared to real life, the Icelandic actor who plays the Mountain Who Is Rotting In His Suit Before Our Eyes, Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson, sometimes seems to forget he’s not actually a killing machine. Euro 2016 (a Europe-wide soccer tournament) is just getting underway, and many of the cast members are big fans. Perhaps the biggest fan (by sheer mass) is Björnsson, who’s going around threatening soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo plays for Portugal, which goes up against Iceland on Friday. Björnsson, naturally, is a huge fan of his home country’s team, and he has a warning for Ronaldo.

"I have a message for Cristiano Ronaldo. I know you’re playing against Iceland for the first game. If you dare to score against my team mates, I will find you and crush your head like I did to the Red Viper."

I assume that, if this does come to pass, Sky Atlantic will get the rights and only show it to subscribers. Of course, all this can be fixed if Portugal and Iceland take a tip from the Pittsburgh Pirates and recreate the Game of Thrones credits as their staring line up intro.

And speaking of things that should only be shown to subscribers, I would suggest filing Kit Harington attempting to sexily read Prince lyrics aloud in that category.

I wish Harington had followed the lead of Chris Evans and tried belting it out. We know you can, Kit. We saw Game of Thrones: The Musical.

And finally, something for the 30 Rock fans out there.
