Funnies: the Meereenese crew plays around on set, Gay of Thrones, and more

As it ever was an ever shall be, a new wave of Game of Thrones-themed funnies have arisen in the wake of the latest episode, “No One.” First off, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) captured some backstage mayhem when Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) tried to do a trick with a prop knife, only for everything to go horribly wrong.

Also, hairdresser Jonathan Van Ness is back with another episode of the always-diverting Gay of Thrones. This week, he and his guest burn through “No One.” Let’s watch, shall we?

This week’s new names (or old names coming back after a long time, which is happening a lot this season):

  • The Hound: Dog the Bounty Hunter
  • The Mountain: Beef-3PO
  • Beric Dondarrion and the Brotherhood Without Banners: Phil Collins and his homegirls from Genesis
  • The Waif: Blonde Ellen Page

And all those Game of Thrones-themed wine names they came up with deserve mention: Pinot Greyscale, Stabernet, Braavos Box Wine, and one I didn’t hear. I also liked the dig about Arya going to an actress for medical treatment. “Which makes sense. Like, when I broke my ankle I went directly to Debra Messing.”

And if you thought of The Terminator during that Arya-Waif chase scene, clearly you weren’t alone. Van Ness thought of it, Maisie Williams thought of it, Faye Marsay, who plays the Waif, thought of it, and you can be damn sure that the internet thought of it.

The always-reliable Ozzy Man always reviewed the latest episode. Have a watch:

The internet also provided plenty of memes. For example, did you realize that Arya is Batman? How did we not see it before?

Also, Redditor RzK has the scoop on some hot new Game of Thrones fan theories. Too farfetched to be true, or just farfetched enough?

Will these pan out? Considering they’re jokes, no, but it’s impossible to be certain!
