Welcome to WiC Weekly, where we recap the biggest Game of Thrones-related news stories from the past week. We start our weekly recap with the rumor mill from The Winds of Winter, going into overdrive.
Speaking of The Winds of Winter, some eagle-eyed fans deciphered snippets from George R.R. Martin’s computer screen.
We lament the fact that Game of Thrones Season 7 will start later in 2017, and will only have seven episodes.

Video game makers, Bethesda, turned down a chance to add the world of A Song of Ice and Fire to Skyrim.
A hilarious Game of Thrones Season 6 blooper reel was released ahead of the Thrones San Diego Comic-Con panel.
Information on filming locations for Season 7, was revealed.
Author George R.R. Martin pointed out a plothole to Stan Lee, way back in 1964.

It was a fun and busy week on the Game of Thrones front. Hopefully now that we’ve got a first look at the production side of Season 7, we’ll start to see a bit more on the news front, in regard to filming for next season and where the actors are heading.
