Doctor Who: Victorian Set Pictures for Series Ten

Doctor Who is back filming for Series Ten in Cardiff, Wales and there are some interesting new Victorian-esque pictures from the set.

More from Winter is Coming

Doctor Who fan Mark Llewellyn-Jones recently shared some fantastic tweets, from outside of his place of employment, of the set of Series Ten in Cardiff, Wales.

In a time honored Doctor Who tradition, we return to a Victorian setting. As we know from experience, the episode in question could either be based on Earth, or an entirely different planet. Llewellyn-Jones claims that it is the Christmas special, but this in unconfirmed, despite the snow.

Check out the tweets below:

Both Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie were in attendance, in period garb.

The Doctor gets the opportunity to once again wear one of his favorite accessories: a top hat. Bill is donning some grand plumage.

Llewellyn-Jones was caught in the act of spying, but Capaldi was very gracious about it.

The set designers are apparently going for a gritty feel.

We even get a gif! What are those rods on the ground?

Yesterday, Den of Geek shared a tweet from Monday that has since been taken down. It read:

"#spolieralert There must be aliens in this episode of #drwho as just heard the director say he need more ‘humans’ in the shot #PeterCapaldi— Mark Llewellyn-Jones (@llewellyn_jones) August 1, 2016"

Another question that these pictures raise is will we see the Paternoster Gang again?
