David Suchet of the long-running ITV program Agatha Christie’s Poirot will guest star as The Landlord in Series Ten of Doctor Who.
The United Kingdom has their fair share of iconic television and movie franchises, some of them spanning decades. Of course, the most well-known of these is Doctor Who. Another is Agatha Christie’s Poirot, based on Christie’s writings. The ITV program, which ran from 1989 to 2013, starred David Suchet as the literary character Hercule Poirot, a mustachioed Belgian detective.
Soon, the worlds of these two shows will collide in a way. It was recently reported by Den of Geek that Suchet will guest star as The Landlord in an episode (written by Mike Bartlett) of Series Ten of Doctor Who.
Along with the announcement, the BBC released a promotional image of the character.
