If you cannot wait to see what Series Ten of Doctor Who has to offer, then you’re in luck. Secrets from the new season, as well as the Christmas Special, will be unveiled at New York Comic Con in October.

In the grand scheme of things, October is not that far away. We’re almost done with August, and in another 42 days, the calendar will flip to October. Thoughts will focus on foliage, pumpkin spice everything, and Halloween. However, for Doctor Who fans, October will have a special meaning separate from those other moments that others look forward to.

During New York Comic Con, which will take place in the middle of October, those of us who are longing for more news about the upcoming series will finally get our wishes granted. In a panel featuring Peter Capaldi, Steven Moffat, Pearl Mackie and Peter Minchin, several of the secrets that will come during Series Ten will be unveiled, giving us something to look forward to.

More from Winter is Coming

It will certainly be interesting to see what details will be shared at that time. Aside from a few images that have been posted by fans, and that two minute trailer to introduce Mackie as Bill, we have not seen much from the set. Yes, details such as Nardole being a recurring character and various special guests have come through, but that is not the same as seeing a few scenes and hearing those reveals from the cast.

As such, we look forward to October. Then, some of the questions that we have about the upcoming series should be answered. Of course, this will lead to other questions, and only further whet our appetite for the further adventures of the Doctor, but we will be ever closer to the Christmas Special.
