Game of Thrones is expected to have a big night at the 68th Emmy Awards on September 18, but it should be especially huge for Kit Harrington. Besides being nominated for his first Emmy (for Best Supporting Actor), Variety reports that he’ll appear onstage to present an award.

At the moment, Game of Thrones has amassed a total of 26 Emmys. And keep in mind, that’s only during its first five years on the air. The 26 total ties it with Hill Street Blues and The West Wing. If it earns but one more Emmy, it’ll be the most decorated drama in Emmy history. Season 6 earned a whopping 23 nominations, so a record-busting appearance seems likely.

Kit Harrington was notably absent from last year’s Emmy Awards. As you may remember, the producers were still in full-on “Jon Snow is not coming back” mode at the time. They were doing anything possible to convince us that our favorite Night’s Watchman was not returning for Season 6. One year Harington’s not there, and the next he’s both a presenter and a nominee. Not a bad turnaround, no?
