Tim McInnerny (Lord Robett Glover) returning for Game of Thrones Season 7
By Dan Selcke
Not long ago, The Daily Mail published a series of photos showing various Game of Thrones cast members getting out of (or into) their costumes in Linen Mill Studios at Banbridge, Northern Ireland. This collage of the photos popped up on cast member Liam Cunningham’s Instagram. Enjoy:
The photos were taken by Twitter user pap4u, who later uploaded a few additional ones to their account. Among them are a few shots of actor Tim McInnerny, who played Lord Robett Glover in Season 6. You’ll remember him as the stern lord who refused to help Jon and Sansa in their quest to kick Ramsay out of Winterfell when they stopped by his holdfast in “The Broken Man.”
Look for him in the bottom two corners—click to blow the pics up.
He’s in a robe, which probably means he’s getting into costume. Together with Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) and Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont), Linen Mill looked to be hosting the whole Winterfell crew that day.
It’s not surprising that Lord Glover will return. Jon will have to bring his lords together if he wants to present a united front against the White Walkers. We’ll be on the lookout for signs of Sean Blowers (Lord Wyman Manderly) and Tom Varey (Lord Cley Cerwyn) as well.
The Daily Mail, meanwhile, published new photos of Kit Harington interacting with the women who in previous pictures labeled as Sophie Turner’s body double, although it’s possible she has a role apart from that.
In other news, fansite Watchers on the Wall has posted a photo of production activity at Fair Head, a scenic headland near the town of Ballycastle in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Ballycastle, in turn, is a little over an hour’s drive from Belfast, the center of Season 7 filming activity.
Like many headlands, Fair Head features a sheer, rocky drop that extends out into the water. It’s a photogenic place that could host any number of scenes.
