Pics: A fan favorite returns to the Game of Thrones set

We basically already knew this, but it’s nice to have confirmation: Lyanna Mormont will return for Game of Thrones Season 7. Long live Bear Island!

A couple of weeks back, The Daily Mail published photos of Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), and others filming scenes for Season 7 at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. That same photographer has been uploading other pics ever since, including this set of Bella Ramsey, aka Lyanna Mormont.

It makes sense that Ramsey would be in the same place as Harington, Christie, and Cunningham. These characters were together at Winterfell at the end of Season 6 (well, Brienne was on her way), so they should at least start Season 7 there. More than likely, the production is shooting interior scenes at Winterfell at Linen Mill.

But like I said, we’ve been pretty sure Lyanna would be returning after Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) posted this photo to his Instagram:

Also, why wouldn’t you want to bring Lyanna Mormont back? She’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

In other cast member what-have-yous, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) posted this photo of Gwendoline Christie on his newly created Instagram.

Does this mean that Jaime and Brienne are meeting up again, or are the actors just hanging out? Stay tuned.

Kit Harington, meanwhile, was spotted in London, no doubt awaiting his next Game of Thrones scene.
