A super creepy real life Westworld host

There are times that the hosts from Westworld are a bit creepy, but you haven’t seen real weirdness until you’ve seen a real life musculoskeletal robot.

There are a lot of really unsettling things in Westworld, and the hosts can be particularly unsettling. Whether it’s Bernard leading a naked Pete Abernethy down to cold storage or host smashing its own head in with a bolder, things can get really weird really fast in Westworld.

You might think that’s there’s no way that a real life host, a musculoskeletal robot, could be as creepy as the hosts in Westworld, but you’d be wrong.

Do not watch this video at night.

Westworld isn’t a show to watch after dark, but oh my lord that’s something you don’t even want to see at high noon on a Sunday.

Can you imagine being in the lab and seeing these things out of the corner of your eye all day? I’ve wondered how the Westworld staff handles seeing the hosts all day and knowing they are artificial, but I didn’t imagine it would be this unsettling. No wonder the tech in the last episode of Westworld wanted to put a sheet over the host he was working on, and no wonder Ford didn’t want him to question whether it was real.

The muscles are the most disturbing part right? This isn’t the only creepy human robot around though…

So many nightmares. I apologize if you watched this before bed. This robot might be even more creepy than the first one because it just kind of looks human.
