The city of Seville continues to keep things locked down as the Game of Thrones production continues to film scenes for Season 7. These are the days of frustration, as the majority of the lead cast members are all in one city, but fans have little hope of getting footage of it. We knew it would be that way at the ruins of Italica, which features areas that are below-ground. On top of that, the production has roofed it over and put fences around it, effectively keeping anyone from seeing anything. Although as you can see, that’s not stopping fans from gathering round.

The other space in Seville won’t be much better. The city’s Royal Shipyards, a catacomb-like interior, are easily closed off to tourists. According to ABCSeville, filming there commences this coming Tuesday, November 8th.

Per ABCSevilla, the production has even taken the step of asking that the nearby gardens of the Teatro de la Maestranza be closed to keep the possibility of set leaks to an absolute minimum. It’s gonna be Fort Knox over there.

ABCSeville warns that traffic will be affected around the shipyard area for the four days of filming (the cast will be working from Tuesday through Friday the 11th. Commuters should adjust their routes accordingly.

Meanwhile, cast members continue to be spotted around town. Kit Harington, as always, is a popular subject for photogs.
