This new Westworld theory about Dolores and the maze could change everything.

SPOILER WARNING: THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE MIGHT CONTAIN WESTWORLD SPOILERS.

We’ve  covered a lot of crazy Westworld theories, but this might be the craziest yet. This theory not only turns Dolores’ importance upside down, but also all the ideas about the maze itself.

FINAL CHANCE TO TURN BACK AND AVOID SPOILERS!

We found this theory while perusing the always interesting Westworld subreddit. It’s absolutely a crazy theory, but it’s also a fun departure from that subreddit’s constant battle between those who think we are seeing multiple timelines and those who think we are seeing one timeline.

The basic idea is that the maze is a womb, and that Dolores is going to have a child, a child that is possibly half human. This child would be the next step in evolution, this ability to reproduce would mean that the hosts are their own species.

There are of course some big problems with this theory and no evidence to back it up, other than it would be a really interesting twist. First off if William is supposed to be the father then we can’t be seeing two timelines. There’s no chance Dolores give birth to a child and then thirty years later is still in the park as a host.

Secondly although the hosts are biological on some level and have human traits, they do not age or carry on any of the other biological processes. Someone would have to program them to reproduce right?

The biggest problem is simply that Dolores isn’t pregnant as far as we can tell. Dolores is out there running around the park, and now gunning down confederates, so she doesn’t appear to be with child.

The maze could be interpreted as having a child in the center of a womb, but it could also be seen as a lot of other things, including a host or man inside a maze.
