Game of Thrones Season 7 filming: Cast sightings and SPOILERS from Seville

Filming on Game of Thrones Season 7 continues near Seville, and we’ve got some juicy SPOILERS about what’s going down. But before we get to that, let’s a look at the hero’s welcome the cast members are getting. Really, people are receiving them like rock stars. For example, here’s Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) arriving back at her hotel amid a throng of delighting fans.

And here’s Kit Harington (Jon Snow) holding court in the street.

And here’s Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) arriving at her hotel:

The crowd is screaming with passion. Even Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) were feeling the love.

It’s all pretty remarkable. It recalls the way fans would lose their s*it when the Beatles came calling back in the ’60s.

And now, the SPOILERS. Learn too much below the adorable picture of Emilia Clarke posing with young fans.

The production spent the last week filming scenes at the ruins of Italica, an ancient amphitheater that will stand in for the Dragonpit of King’s Landing in Season 7. Now, Watchers on the Wall reports that several cast members filmed a scene here over the last couple of days. They include Lena Headey, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane), Anton Lesser (Qyburn), Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Conleth Hill (Varys), Iain Glen, Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Kit Harington, and Rory McCann (Sandor “The Hound” Clegane).

That’s members of Team Cersei, Team Dany, and Team Jon Snow all in one place. And also the Hound. We’re not sure how he figures in. Incidentally, there was no report of the Hound and the Mountain fighting, so hold off your hopes for Cleganebowl…for now.

Anyway, Watchers also brought news of what the group was doing. According to the publication’s sources, the scene involved certain characters—probably members of Team Jon—bringing a wight to the Dragonpit to convince people that the White Walkers were real and represented a threat.

This lines up with parts of a recent plot leak. We’ll be looking out for more information.
