Funnies: Game of Thrones meets Seinfeld, Calvin and Hobbes, and the US election

If you had to name one major thing missing from Game of Thrones, what would be your pic? If you answered “laugh track” then pat yourself on the back, because that’s exactly what the show needs…or at least YouTuber Matin Comedy thinks so. Check out their marriage of Game of Thrones and Seinfeld. When it comes to these scenes, the laugh track makes all the difference in the world.

Incidentally, Matin Comedy has done five other Game of Thrones-Seinfeld mashups, and I highly suggest you check them out. They add the perfect amount of levity to those awkward and uncomfortable scenes.

Moving from one mashup to another, this is what it looks like when you cross Game of Thrones with Calvin and Hobbes. And no, it’s not as horrible as your imagination instantly made it. Website Direct Deals, a DirectTV authorized dealer, mashed together a bunch of big TV shows with beloved cartoons. And so you have this:

"Calvin and Hobbes meet Game of Thrones"

So today is the day when people in the United States get out there and vote for the next president. It’s been a long, long, LONG journey to the finish line, but at least it provided fodder for Game of Thrones-based comedy. Funny or Die has been posting a series of GoT-based election videos for a while now, with Daenerys and Cersei fighting for votes. We wrote up the first three episodes here. Now watch the final two:

Dany2016 Vs Im with Cer: Episode 4: The Melisandre Kelly Show: Interview with Daenerys Targaryen – watch more funny videos

Dany 2016 Vs. Im with Cer: Episode 5: The Debate – watch more funny videos

Incidentally, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) posted this on her Instagram, so it’s reasonably clear which candidate she supports:

And finally, I present to you the fantastically marvelous and always entertaining Kristofer Hivju. This photo was shared with us by Twitter user Andrew Boynton, and it shows Hivju dressed in a Bunad, the traditional costume of Norway, apparently.

Is that an ice cream in his hand? Never change, Kristofer Hivju. Please, never, ever change.
