Maisie Williams is changing the world, Stephen Dillane gets a new gig, and more actor news

Everyone wants some celebrity gossip today, right? Something to cleanse the pallet, so to speak? Here you are.
In news that might pick you up, People Magazine has named Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) one of its 25 Women Changing the World. Assassins can make a difference, too.
But seriously, Williams should be proud of being to the list, especially at just 19 years of age. Her mission? Making social media a positive place for younger generations.
"I think we have an idea of who victims of bullying are, and actually itâs anyone really. Thereâs no separate thing about me that made me, âthe bullied.â It can happen to absolutely anybody. And I wanted to get that across and let young girls know that you shouldnât feel different for being bullied and you shouldnât feel singled out."
Williams herself didnât enjoy school as a youngster, specifically because of bullying. âPeople say, âOh, thatâs so strange that you got bullied. And Iâm like, âItâs so strange that anyone gets bullied.â We are the most developed generation⨠in terms of talking about difficult subjects, homophobia, and sexuality, and racial issues. Thatâs what I love about us.â
And Williams practices what she preaches, too, having visited with Syrian refugees in Greece earlier this year. âIâm going to make the second half of this year my mission to try and better their lives,â she said. And to that we say bravo.
Next up, our old pal Stephen Dillaneâaka Stannis Baratheon, the Once and Future King of Grammarâhas a new project. Per Deadline, Dillane has joined the cast of Darkest Hour, a drama that stars Gary Oldman as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the period immediately before the outbreak of World War II. The film is scheduled for a fall 2017 release, and also includes actors John Hurt, Lily James, Ben Mendelsohn, and Kristin Scott Thomas. Thereâs no word on Dillaneâs role as of yet.
And last but not least, the other half of the âMophieâ power couple may have found a new squeeze. Sophie Turner was recently spotted canoodling (a word that is exclusively used when describing celebrity couples) with pop star Joe Jonas at a Kings of Leon concert in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Obviously, we are jealous of himâŚbecause he might learn Season 7 secrets early.
