Westworld Episode 7 “Trompe L’Oeil ” Preview

Ford is coming to terms with the fact that his creations may not be totally under his control in the preview for Westworld episode 7 “Trompe L’Oeil.”

It looks like sides are forming, or at least being revealed, in the seventh episode of Westworld. Trompe L’Oeil, the title of the episode, is a french phrase that means “deceive the eye.” That of course could have been the title of any episode of Westworld, but perhaps we are in for a particularly twisting adventure in episode 7?

Ford’s ultimate motivation and his new storyline are still unknown, but the motivations behind Theresa and the park management from Delos now appear more clear. We know Theresa was behind the satellite uplink in the host, and we know the Delos board has now sent down a representative. It looks like Delos is trying to push Ford out to make way for their plans, whatever those might be. Could it be that Ford isn’t the bad guy in all of this after all?

Well then again that scary Ford “under my control” doesn’t make you think he’s a good guy does it? That’s the angry old testament Ford coming back into play.

It also looks like we will catch back up with William and Dolores this week, and see how their adventure to the front is going. All of our storylines have to start coming together soon, as we sadly only have three more episodes of Westworld left this season. No matter how many timelines we are watching they are all probably about to start crashing into one another.
