We saw in the preview for Westworld episode 7 ““Trompe L’Oeil” that Ford is coming to terms with the fact that his creations may not be totally under his control, things are building to a head in Westworld.

Trompe L’Oeil, the title of the episode, is a french phrase that means “deceive the eye.”

The “previously on” segment is focusing on Dolores and William, so we will be catching back up with them tonight.

Opening with Bernard in the hospital with his son.

“Everything would be what it isn’t.” That’s going to be important.

The loss of Charlie is obviously a major driving factor in Bernard’s life.

Elise has gone missing…

The Ghost Nation tribe is finally going to make an appearance.

Theresa is uptight, she’s still hiding something. Could she be working both ends? Could she be spying for the board and perhaps someone else?

Theresa is not in good with the board right now.

The rest of the board is headed to the park and they plan to make Ford retire.

So the board messing with the code might be why the hosts are starting to be able to harm humans?

The board wants to have someone killed by a host to prove that the park is dangerous, then they can break their code.

Maeve was ready to attack when they came for Clementine.

We haven’t seen Teddy or the man in black this episode, just like we didn’t see Dolores or William in the last episode. So what do you think? Two timelines or one? Or more?

William wants to “find out what it means” just like the man in black.

Dolores meanwhile doesn’t want to be in the story anymore.

So William isn’t married yet.

William is totally giving in the to the park, and Dolores.

Miss Hill is not a fun person.

Hill and Theresa are trying to prove that the hosts are dangerous, but the staged fight…

Hill just fired Bernard, he was the sacrificial lamb that Hill told Bernard about.

William is certainly falling for Dolores, and he’s certainly getting into the park, much like the man in black.

Is Dolores drawing the location of the maze?

Someone blocked the train tracks, this isn’t going to be good.

Do much for smuggling the nitro in, they just used that to blow up some confederates.

Ghost Nation showed up at a convenient time.

Is the place Dolores drew the maze?

Dolores and William aren’t headed to the front.

Maeve is not playing around anymore, she’s killing herself to get into the body shop.

Maeve is watching them destroy Clementine.

Bernard is still treating Theresa better than she deserves for sure. Why Bernard keeps thinking Theresa will do the right thing I don’t know.

Maeve is not taking the death of Clementine well at all.

The skin on Maeve is made to keep her in the park.

Bernard says he understands the hosts, it’s the humans that confuse him. That sounds like something Arnold would say.

Bernard couldn’t see the door… Bernard might be a host.

Yep Bernard is a host.

Theresa is threatening Ford in the park, that seems like a mistake.

So Ford probably killed Arnold too.

Wow, Ford had Bernard kill Theresa. Is that what happened to Elsie as well?
