Westworld Theory: Wyatt

A new Westworld Theory focuses on Wyatt the mysterious villain for Ford’s new storyline and suggests that there might be more than two timelines.

SPOILER WARNING: THIS WESTWORLD THEORY POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM RECENT EPISODES OF WESTWORLD. IF YOU AREN’T CAUGHT UP ON WESTWORLD AVOID THIS POST! THIS POST ALSO CONTAINS CONJECTURE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF WESTWORLD, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR POSSIBLE WESTWORLD SPOILERS AVOID THIS POST!

A redditor called NoMereVeneerofVanity might have just put forth a theory that changes everything. This theory is spectacular and big, and will certianly change the way you see the show, so be careful if you’re trying to avoid spoilers.

Basically the theory is that there are three timelines, and those three timelines in the end will show us who Wyatt is. There’s the man in black and Teddy on the trail of Wyatt, there’s the William and Dolores timeline set thirty years before Teddy and the man in black, and there’s the Dolores flashback timeline set five years before William and Dolores.

We’ve seen Dolores bug out and have these flashbacks where she is killing everyone in the original Westworld town. We also know that she spoke to Arnold on the day he died and she is hearing his voice in her head. We also know from her flashbacks that she massacred everyone in the original Westworld town. Perhaps that massacre was just a weird trippy dream, or maybe Dolores is the killer. So Wyatt is Dolores.

The only other character that’s as mysterious in this show as Wyatt is the man in black. We haven’t been told the man in black’s name because he most likely is William. It therefore isn’t a stretch to think that the reason we haven’t seen or really heard Wyatt is that Wyatt is Dolores.

The man in black told Teddy that Wyatt had Dolores, and maybe that’s not totally a lie. Perhaps in a way Wyatt does have Dolores, and Teddy’s path always takes him back to Dolores.

This would also mean that everything that’s happened, could be part of a master plan by Ford. Ford obviously has some bigger plan than just running a theme park, and Dolores, the maze, Wyatt, and even the man in black may just be part of it. Even Sylvester and Felix monkeying around with Maeve’s code might just be part of Fords elaborate plan.
