This Westworld theory asks what if we’ve already met the leader of the cult in Ford’s new story-line?

The biggest piece of the Westworld puzzle left out there is Ford’s new story-line. We’ve been given hints to just about everything else, but not that… or have we?  What if we’ve already seen the leader of Ford’s mysterious new story-line, in-fact we’ve seen the story-line start already.

We’ve already discussed how it seems very unlikely that Felix and Sylvester were able to monkey around with Maeve’s code without anyone in management getting suspicious. Ford seems to know everything happening in the park. Ford knew when Bernard was going to try to trap him, and had a backdoor. Ford knew when he needed to get rid of Theresa. Ford seems to know exactly what Charlotte Hale is doing. If Ford knows all this and is always a step ahead why doesn’t he know about Maeve and her army?

The truth is that Ford probably does know. So perhaps Maeve and her army are part of Ford’s narrative? Perhaps Maeve is the mysterious Wyatt. What if all of this was engineered by Ford as the new narrative?

The entire Delos board is coming to the park, what if Ford’s plan is to show them his new narrative from the inside? The narrative being that the hosts are rebelling. They are going to think they are in the middle of the host revolution, just to have Ford come out on top in the end and explain that that was the new narrative. After all it was Ford’s reveres that started all this in the first place. Is it so far fetched to think this was all his plan?

It would certianly make for a wild and Westworld worthy twist ending; and mean that Maeve has been playing a part all along, she just didn’t know it.
