Sky Atlantic to simulcast Westworld season 1 finale

If you’re a Westworld fan living in Europe you won’t have to spend all day Monday avoiding the internet, because Sky Atlantic is going to simulcast the Westworld Season 1 finale.

Being a Westworld fan in Europe can be hard. Westworld appears on Sky Atlantic and is aired after it has already aired on HBO in the United States. This of course means that the internet is a minefield of spoilers that can be dangerous to navigate. You also miss out on getting to discuss the show with the rest of the net, because by the time you’re ready to post your great theory it has probably already been posted somewhere.

This week however our friends and Westworld fans in Europe won’t have to worry, because Sky Atlantic is going to simulcast the Westworld season finale. So you’ll have to stay up until 2AM on Monday morning, but you’ll also get to see Westworld when everyone else does.

Sure you may be groggy and out of sorts for work tomorrow, but one man’s work life or death were but a small price to pay for the acquirement of the knowledge which I sought, for the dominion I should acquire. Right?

I think this is a brilliant move by Sky Atlantic to bring fans of Westworld who watch their network into the fun. The internet hasn’t been great about keeping spoilers from Westworld quiet, so you can only imagine how it’s going to be after the season finale.

This does seem like a good moment to mention spoilers though. If you can’t watch the finale please avoid social media. It’s unreasonable to assume that people who have seen the show won’t been talking about it on social media. Clearly people shouldn’t intentionally spoil a show, but asking them not to talk about it completely is unreasonable. So take the responsibility on yourself!
