Could [SPOILER] be back for Westworld season 2?

Could one major character we thought dead be back for Westworld season 2? Here’s how [SPOILER] might return…

The first season of Westworld is over, and with it the life of Robert Ford… right? Well probably, but there’s always a chance. In Westworld what you think you’re seeing is rarely what you’re seeing. If there’s one thing we should have learned from Westworld’s first season it’s that Westworld is full of surprises.

So how could Robert Ford be back? Well the obvious answer is that he created a host version of himself and set the host up to be killed by Dolores./Wyatt. That’s the cynical answer though and I made the mistake of not giving Ford enough credit before.

What if Ford didn’t make himself into a host, what if Ford really did sacrifice himself because he knew it was the only way to truly free the hosts. Even if Ford has decided that the hosts no longer need him, the hosts may not have decided the same.

If we see the hosts start to build more hosts, to reproduce in a way and truly become their own people we may see them recreate their maker. They already have a version of Arnold in Bernard, so why not have a version of Ford as well.

Bernard might even make a replacement for Ford so that he has a partner again, much like Ford did for him.

So there are still several ways that Ford might reappear in Westworld season 2, don’t count anything out when it comes to Westworld.
