Jimmi Simpson, who plays William on Westworld, says that one major character isn’t dead.

SPOILER WARNING: THIS WESTWORLD POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM RECENT EPISODES OF WESTWORLD. IF YOU AREN’T CAUGHT UP ON WESTWORLD AVOID THIS POST! THIS POST ALSO MAY CONTAIN CONJECTURE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF WESTWORLD, IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR POSSIBLE WESTWORLD SPOILERS AVOID THIS POST!

There are multiple Westworld characters that we don’t really know the fate of. Obviously Ashley Stubbs and Elsie Hughes’ fates are still unknown, despite the show hinting that they are dead. And even though we saw Ford killed by Dolores in the season finale of Westworld the internet has found clues that suggest that Westworld’s twisted Walt Disney may himself still be alive.

Another character we don’t know the final story on is of course Logan. The last we saw of Logan his future brother-in-law William had strapped him naked to a horse and sent him riding off into the distance. Some thought that this meant that William had essentially killed Logan, but Jimmi Simpson, who plays William, says that’s not the case.

Simpson told INSIDER:

"“[William’s] going to send him off, he’ll get lost in the park, and it’s just one more thing [Logan] has done that’s not top-tier while they were on their stay,” Simpson told INSIDER."

The implication here is that coupled with William suggesting that Logan’s father would need someone more stable to run the company William is setting Logan up. William is going to make it look like Logan had a breakdown in the park. If you pair that with the fact that Logan is often rash and brash in real life… well, obviously Logan’s father might believe the mild mannered William.

So if you were worried that Logan was dead you can rest easy knowing that he’s just been set up to look like he had a mental breakdown.
