10 celebrity cameos we want to see on Game of Thrones
By Corey Smith
9. Seth Meyers
Latenight host Seth Meyers has done his fair share of Game of Thrones-themed skits on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and we would love to see the favor returned by HBO brass. Meyers isn’t exactly physically imposing, so warrior roles are out. Where could the veteran comedian fit on the show?
The commoners of King’s Landing have a long tradition of satirizing the lives of the rich and royal, from the singer who wrote a song about Robert’s death (and had his tongue removed for the trouble) to the people who dubbed Tyrion a demon monkey to that jackass who spun stories about Cersei’s walk of shame. And who better to satirize the current administration on the Iron Throne than Seth Meyers?
Put Meyers up on some steps somewhere and give him a couple seconds of monologue about how things in King’s Landing have gone downhill over the past few months. The High Sparrow? The Sept of Baelor exploding? The king dropping out a window? They all need zingers. Sure, the Mountain may smash Meyers’ head in afterward, but we plead for mercy.
