The Master and the Doctor Will Square Off Against Each Other Once More

When it comes to a love-hate relationship, the Doctor and the Master are the prime example of one. And it seems that Missy will be back once more.

Yesterday we reported about the Master maybe being the new Doctor in this clip released by the BBC. But now we want to focus on the relationship between Missy and the Doctor and see just why we, as fans, are so obsessed with the two!

For those who haven’t seen it, the clip shows Michelle Gomez painting the TARDIS and she says “I’ll be coming out of here soon.” Whether that means as Missy or as the Doctor, it is anyone’s guess, but we do know for a fact that she will be returning for season 10 of the series!

With Missy (or the Master), the Doctor has always had a complex relationship. We saw that in the season finale for season 3 when the Master had the Doctor in his clutches. If you don’t remember, here is one of the greatest scenes in Doctor Who history. The Master dancing to the Scissor Sisters. Could we ask for anything better?

Since, we have thought that the Master had died. That was until the return of Missy. And boy do we love her. So now the question remains, why is she coming back?

We know that she loves to torment the Doctor and it probably has a lot to do with the fact that fans love her. But could it be, as many are predicting, a teaser to show us who the next Doctor is? Or maybe it is alluding to the fact that the Doctor may be a woman next?

Whatever happens, we’re just excited to have Missy back!
