Theon’s own men beat the crap out of him
Unfortunately, things don’t get better for Theon. Actor Alfie Allen filmed another scene at Dragonstone, this time with a group of Ironborn soldiers. Again, they’re not pleased with him.
You’ve got a little blood on your lip there, Theon.
Guys, break it up.
Oh, that’s not good.
Director Jeremy Podeswa was was on hand for this scene. He directed the premiere and the finale. We’re betting this scene is from the finale, since Theon is, assumedly, busy elsewhere during the premiere. Besides, there’s no reason for the Ironborn to beat on Theon before Euron defeats him and Yara in the sea battle. If Theon ran away from that fight rather than stick by his sister, we can imagine that the Ironborn are none too pleased with their cowardly prince, something Theon is probably used to — remember his own men also turned on him in “Valar Morghulis,” the season 2 finale.
When talking to Variety, Alfie Allen said, “Theon has moved on from his “Reek” years in the upcoming season of “Thrones.”” We’re happy for him, but he’s obviously still going to have problems. The Greyjoys siblings in general look like they’re in for a sucky year.
