Con of Thrones is just what it sounds like: a fan convention for all things Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. It’s going down at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN at the end of June, and there’s a robust group of cast and crew members from the show already confirmed to attend. They include:

  • Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton)
  • Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon)
  • Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn)
  • Rupert Vansittart (Yohn Royce)
  • Sam Coleman (Young Hodor)
  • Aimee Richardson (Myrcella Baratheon)
  • Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel)
  • David Peterson (the conlanger behind the Dothraki and Valyrian languages)
  • Tommy Dunne (the show’s Weapons Master)

Now, Con of Thrones has announced that Game of Thrones sound designer Paula Fairfield will also be in attendance. Fairfield has been with the show since season 2, and has been nominated four times for her work on the show — she won in 2015, for her work on season 5. She’s also won four Motion Picture Sound Editors Guild Golden Reel Awards, and been nominated for 16. She’s talented, is Ms. Fairfield.

It should be a blast to hear Fairfield’s insights into the show. To get tickets for Con of Thrones, or to just find out more generally, head here.
