Valar Morghulis: Who’s most likely to die in “Stormborn”?

9-20. Wun-Wun-smashing-that-dude-into-the-wall surprised
When you shoot a giant with a crossbow, what do you think is going to happen? We wouldn’t be surprised if any of these people kick it.
9. Benjen Stark: 35%. Technically, Benjen Stark is already dead. But even if he wasn’t, hanging out north of the Wall with the wight army running around isn’t good for your prospects.
10. Randyll Tarly: 35%. Last week did not bring us the start of Dany’s war on the Seven Kingdoms, but surely this week will see the beginning? If so, Tarly will be right in the middle of the action. Just not with Heartsbane.
11. Bronn: 35%. Like many other players on our list, Dany’s war of conquest puts a lot of people in danger. Bronn is a savvy player, but he’s still a fighter. People fight during a war. And then they die.
12. Littlefinger: 30%. Based on Sansa giving Littlefinger the cold shoulder last week, the nominal Lord of the Vale seems to be wearing out his welcome. Jon choke slamming Littlefinger against a wall in the teaser for “Stormborn” isn’t good news for him, either.
13. Euron Greyjoy: 30%. Euron was all charm and insanity last week when he met with Cersei. Taking on Dany head-on seems foolhardy and will almost surely get him killed, but it’s to know what he’s capable of this soon.
14. Qyburn: 28%. We didn’t see Qyburn last week, but we’re sure he’s lurking around the Red Keep somewhere with his little birds. Or are they Varys’ little birds? Qyburn might not like the answer.
15. Dolorous Edd: 25%. The new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch survived last week, but there’s a massive army of the undead marching for the Wall. Considering that there are now giants among the horde, hanging around Castle Black seems like the wrong choice.
16. Dickon Tarly: 25%. Dickon will likely remain by his father Randyll’s side, so if Randyll gets into a scrap, so does he.
17. Beric Dondarrion: 25%. Beric and crew are headed north, eager to fight the White Walkers. That sounds dangerous, but for the moment, the main threat seems to be the Hound’s temper.
18. Thoros of Myr: 25%. Thoros seems safe for now, but running around as an outlaw is an inherently dangerous profession.
19. Edmure Tully: 25%. Despite the destruction of House Frey last week, Edmure remained locked in the dungeons at the Twins, so far as we can tell. And dungeons are non-hygienic at best. And if you’re locked in there because all your jailers are dead, what then?
20. Olenna Tyrell: 25%. Now that Dany has settled in, she’ll want to meet her new allies. That means boat trips to the island of Dragonstone. With Euron skulking about, that sounds dangerous.
