Very soon, the third episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones — “The Queen’s Justice” — will air on HBO. We’re here to talk all about it.
Even this close to the airing, we’re still not sure which queen the title is talking about. Let’s see if the fact sheet gives us any clues.
- Start Time: July 30, 2017, 9 p.m. EST

Director Mark Mylod made a good showing last week with “Stormborn” — that fiery sea battle was the most elaborate thing he’s directed for Game of Thrones since joining the team in season 5. We’ll be curious to see what he comes up with for “The Queen’s Justice,” which was written by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

The last thing to note about the fact sheet is that the episode runs 63 minutes long, making it longest third episode in the history of the show. Usually, episodes of that length are reserved for finales and premieres. But with fewer episodes this year, many of the episodes are on the longer side.
Here’s HBO official episode description:
"Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes."
As usual, it’s good and vague. The bit about Cersei returning a gift is interesting. We know that Euron promised her a gift, and based on the trailer below, we’re guessing that it involves turning over the women who killed her daughter over to her. But what kind of gift could she be returning?
In their infinite generosity, HBO gave us two trailers for this episode. Well, one-and-a-half. The one below is for both “Stormborn” and “The Queen’s Justice.” We’ve seen a bunch of the footage already, but there’s a bunch of new stuff in there, too.
There’s some interesting stuff in there, but let’s face it: most of the buzz is over the potential meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, which between the trailers and the official images seems inevitable.

There will be other storylines at work, though. Here’s a sampling:
