Game of Thrones Screencap Breakdown: “Eastwatch” Trailer
Quick fade to black and back up on the snowy, blue-tinged north and the holdfast of Winterfell. A wave of ravens takes off into the sky, and we hear Jon speaks: “Bran saw the Night King and his army marching towards Eastwatch.” So Sansa or someone has told Jon that Bran is back, and Jon has little trouble believing in his powers. I hope there’s a cave drawing about it so he can prove it to Daenerys.
Jon makes his case at Dragonstone with Ser Davos, Varys and Dany in attendance. He looks like a member of the team now.
Closeup of Bran either warging or deep in greensight visions. What follows may well be what he sees:
A conspiracy of ravens, perhaps the one we saw departing Winterfell, soars over the snowbound north towards the White Walker army.
A closeup of one of the ravens. Is Bran warging into this one? Or maybe into all of them?
A wide shot of the Night King’s army. A separate group of what looks like mounted figures stands alone on a knoll in center; is it the Night King and his lieutenants, or is it an expedition of unlucky humans?
We smash cut to black and then see one final image of ravens swooping over the ranks of the dead. Ser Davos gets the last word: “Bad things are coming.” The Onion Knight never takes his eye off the ball.
