When the Doctor’s away, Missy will play! The Missy Chronicles are coming!

Everyone’s favorite Mistress is getting her own book series! We’ll be able to follow Missy as she causes trouble throughout the Universe. Here’s what we know so far.

This set of short stories will be available on Amazon in a Hardcover book next February 22, 2018. It will be written by a number of writers, including Cavan Scott, Paul Magrs, James Goss, Peter Anghelides, Richard Dinnick, Jacqueline Rayner. All of these writers have had experience writing for Doctor Who before. From Big Finish, TV dramas, audio plays, and comic books. This series definitely has a good set of writers at its hand.

If you didn’t get the idea from the book excerpt, these adventures will follow Missy around while she’s not with the Doctor. Everyone’s favorite Mistress will be free to do whatever she likes. There’s definitely going to be a lot of killing, that seems to be sure. Who knows what we’ll see of Missy when she’s confined in a vault or with the Doctor.

In a way, it will be very interesting to see what a Master does when evil isn’t right on their tale. Exciting, isn’t it?
