Breathe. Breathe deep, in and out. Repeat until your heart rate has lowered after viewing the events of “Beyond the Wall.” Then, when you’re ready, watch the trailer for the season 7 finale, and know that your heart rate will go right back up. Such is life for a Game of Thrones fan.

Season 7 has been a roller coaster ride, and sadly it’s coming to an end. Before Game of Thrones signs off, though, we have one, extra-long hurrah. After a season where our characters were warping all over the map, it looks like the finale will all the power players together in an unprecedented meeting.

The largely dialogue-less preview shows all the monarchs of Westeros meeting in the Dragonpit of King’s Landing, together with their entourages. We’ve got Jon, Cersei, Tyrion, Davos and Jaime at least, and we can spy Theon, Varys, and Bronn elsewhere in the trailer. Sansa, still in Winterfell holding down the fort, seems to be the only character in the trailer who’s elsewhere. Other than perhaps the series premiere, it’s hard to remember a time when we saw so many characters were in one place.

Jon is the only one to utter a line in the trailer. “There is only one war that matters, and it is here.” It looks like the still-untitled episode will focus on Jon and Dany’s attempt to convince Cersei of the threat the Night King poses. And with a dragon now on his side, there’s no time like the present for the Seven Kingdoms to band together.

After that, Game of Thrones is off the air until who knows when. But for now, let’s enjoy our last day in the sun before the long winter.
