Second annual Con of Thrones tickets now on sale
By Corey Smith
Save the date Game of Thrones fans, tickets for the second annual Con of Thrones, the “largest-ever convention for fans of Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, and the epic worlds of fantasy author George R. R. Martin”, are now on sale. Courtesy of a press release from organizer Mischief Management, the following tickets (and perks), are now available for the May 25-27, 2018 con:
- Single day pass for $69
- Full-weekend General Pass for $159
- Valyrian Pass for $349
The Valyrian Pass, limited in number, includes “exclusive perks like premium seating in MainStage programming and limited edition merchandise,” among others. Last year’s inaugural event was held in Nashville, Tennessee, while this year’s event switches to the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, TX.
Fans who attend will enjoy “panels, interviews, discussions, workshops, and more” throughout the three-day event. Last year’s Con of Thrones boasted Game of Thrones alums such as Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn), and Miltos Yerolemou (Syrio Forel). No word as of yet on the 2018 guest list. Whoever attends will be on hand not only for panels discussing the show, but autographs and photos with fans as well. And who doesn’t want a photo with Ramsay Bolton? We hear he’s a really nice guy.
We found last year’s con extremely enjoyable, especially the cosplay from die-hard fans. No doubt 2018 will be Con will be a success as well.
