A letter from the Editor: What to expect in October on Doctor Who Watch
September brought us challenges! Here’s what you can expect in October on Doctor Who Watch!
September brought us a couple surprises that brought us off our path, with Hurricane Irma knocking out the internet for more than a week. It’s safe to say that there is a lot that I wanted to get done that didn’t happen in September. So here’s what’s going to happen in October on Doctor Who Watch!
However, we carry on into October, one month closer to the Christmas Special. Who knows what the month will bring in terms of Doctor Who news?! But rest assured, we have great content coming for you as well.
In October, we’ll be starting a rewatch of series 10, which should bring us straight to Twice Upon a Time! I’m very excited to be able to rewatch it with the community that we’ve built since the series aired earlier this year.
Meanwhile, we’ll be continuing our Doctor Who Superlatives on Season Nine since we couldn’t give it all of September. It’s turning out to be one of my favorite seasons and I would hate to overlook it!
There are a couple of new ideas I’ll be bringing to the site, including:
BBC
Watching the Sarah Jane Adventures!
I stumbled onto the episodes on Amazon Prime, and I’ve already watched half the first episode and I’m already in love with it. Since I’ve never seen it before, I thought we could all watch it if you have the episodes at hand. We’ll be tweeting about the episodes at well on our Twitter.
Novelizations of Episodes
When I found out that my favorite Classic Who episode, City of Death, had a novelization, I was shocked. And then James showed me a whole world of Doctor Who books. So including audios, we’ll also be looking at that route of ways to look deeper into Doctor Who!
