Let’s tour the Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition

Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition is a traveling showcase for props, costumes, sets and more used on HBO’s mega-hit. The latest iteration opened this past Saturday at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, and will stay open through January 7.

Barcelona is going through some tension right now, so the timing of the exhibition isn’t great. Still, that shouldn’t stop fans, both local and from anywhere around the world, from taking in what the it has to offer. Here’s what you can expect.

The whole thing kicked off with visits from two Game of Thrones stars: Ian Beattie (Meryn Trant) and Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar), both of whom gave absorbing interviews about their time on the show.

Anyway, when you enter the exhibition, you’ll be able to take a picture in front of a green screen; then, at the end of the tour, you can buy a picture of yourself riding Drogon. How’s that for a souvenir?

After a video showing off some of the big moments from the series, you’re off to the exhibition proper. It’s divided into several rooms, including ones modeled after King’s Landing, where you’ll see several of the costumes worn during the infamous Purple Wedding…

…Daenerys’ audience chamber in Meereen…

…the Kingsroad, where you can take in costumes worn by Arya, the Hound, Robb and Catelyn…

…the House of Black and White, where there dwell the costumes worn by No One and No One…

…and the Wall, featuring a tableau of that time Jon got stabbed to death.

There are also rooms modeled off the lands beyond the Wall, featuring costumes worn by the Night King and poor Hodor, and one based on the Red Keep Throne room. Take a turn around the whole thing in the video below:

And keep in mind: these aren’t reproductions. These are all actual costumes worn on the show. Visitors are helped along by an audio tour narrated by Game of Thrones costume designer Michele Clapton herself!

And we haven’t described everything — you can also find costumes worn by Stannis Baratheon, Melisandre, Oberyn Martell, Sansa Stark, Littlefinger, and the Greyjoy siblings. Notable props include the Valyrian steel dagger Arya used to kill Littlefinger in season 7 and the little wooden stag Davos carved for Shireen…before her dad burnt her alive. Careful around that one. All that and those miniatures the characters are always leaning over while discussing battle strategy, too.

And for genealogy fans, this updated Targaryen family chart puts
